The Accounting Manager will help build and manage an accounting team, establish, and execute accounting processes, and partner with our business units to provide best in class finance and accounting support. The successful candidate will have experience building strong foundations within rapidly growing organizations and be able to flex between building process and operational work. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Manage the general accounting processes for the company Prepare monthly financial statements, metrics, and actual vs. budget variance reports Establish accounting processes and internal controls in support of financial reporting and SOX requirements Partner with the business to establish finance and accounting processes that support the company's financial reporting and decision-making needs Ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements Manage and process Accounts Payable Manage and process multi-state Payroll Manage stock-based compensation administration and activity Manage and file federal, state, and local business and tax filings as needed Other duties as required and/or assigned ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in accounting Previous SOX experience Minimum of 5 years directly relevant experience Excellent communication skills CPA preferred Experience in Public Accounting a benefit Experience with establishing and improving accounting processes a benefit OTHER REQUIREMENTS This role can be performed remotely from a home office in the US Some long-distance travel (10%) may be required with a potential of travel occurring over weekend
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
